Hi, my name is Matt. I am a 1984 born, hairy faced, shorter than average, self-taught graphic designer / front end developer. I have been working at the amazing Seheler Network communications agency in Falköping, Sweden for the last two and a bit years… så du får gärna prata svenska med mig!
In terms of web work, I work regularly with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and PHP. I also use Wordpress.org as a content management system in projects where the client requires full control of the site after delivery. When it comes to design I work within the Adobe Creative Suite which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and everyones favourite waste of time, Flash.
For an example of the kind of projects I have already completed cast your peepers over the scroll bar below, click through to the 'other projects' page via the menu on the right or alternatively just keep looking around this page. It is all made in HTML, CSS and jQuery and is responsive so it will be nice and fit whatever screen size you have... boom!
This project is based around the Formula 1 team McLaren and the history of their cars. Each example includes details of a championship winning car, driver and the events surrounding it. There are also statistics relating to wins, pole positions, races copeted in and championship points.
Project: Job Timer
Tools used:Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS, jQuery Client: Personal
Keeping track of time worked on a project during the day is hard, especially when you are switching between jobs. I made this as a way to better keep track of what I have been doing during the day for my time reports made at the end of each day.
The tool is based on the jQuery stopwatch code written by Kelli Shaver… if you read this at all Kelli, thanks!
The fonts used are from Google Web Fonts, you can see the names of them in the images below.

This website was built on a relatively low budget. The theme has been designed and built from scratch, using the Wordpress CMS and default TwentyEleven theme as a skeleton. The site was intended to be one single, vertically scrolling page but was then spread over a regular site layout due to the sheer amount of information the client had.
The site originally used the fonts you can see in the images below but it was recently changed by the client on the live site to 'Georgia'. The Weston font is available for free through Font Fabric.
This was done purely for fun. I took a few of the wallpaper images from the McLaren website and remade them using an HDR effect on the cars. The numbers over the wheels are gobbledigook so don't strain too hard trying to read what they say!
Aroy is a thai restaurant based in Falköping, Sweden who Sehéler Network had created the branding and menus for previously. This website was made as a simple way to display the restaurants menu and some basic contact and opening information online.
Design of the site was completed using Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop. The site was then translated from those documents to a unique, custom built theme on the Wordpress CMS. The Wordpress CMS makes it easier for the restaurant to update the contents themselves in the future.
This website was designed by Seheler Network. I took the design from a fireworks file and coded it onto a skeleton of the defauly wordpress theme, TwentyTen.
